2008.04.22, 04:33 :: Meanwhile, three years later
I'm not sure when I had moved all the old strips aside with the intention of loading up daily (riiiiight) sketches but I became
very tired of looking at the one lousy scribble and so I've renamed and loaded all the old strips instead.
I'm not promising any updates or anything, just something that I needed to (re)do.
2005.06.07, 20:41 :: Oops
So... yeah. See, I upgraded my hardware right around September 12th of 2004 (judging by the date of my last post) and that was
about when I lost the userID (not password, pre-assigned meaningless-to-me userID) to this website's shell account. Basically
I couldn't update even when I wanted to, and that kinda sucked. Fortunately I already had that info on my PC at work, but
I had totally forgotten that it was there.
Anyway, that being said, I might start updating things here a bit. I played with some of the blogs over at MSN spaces,
and there's a reallygreat feature they're supporting: blog by email. I email my entry to my personal address that it
creates, and the entry shows up in the blog almost immediately (perhaps totally immediately, not sure). I realized that this
news code here is basically a blog itself and I could just save the XML as a compliant format to RSS. I may do that soonish
if I can write a little scriptypoo to pickup new entries from the account's mailbox. We'll see how that turns out,
if I do it at all.
2004.09.11, 21:18 :: HAHAHAHA UPDATES! RIGHT!
Hi, what's happening? Yeah, I'm going to need you to go ahead and forget that whole thing about updates; thaaanks.
Anyway, I ended up working a lot and drawing very little. After wrapping things up for
Vortech Consulting I accepted an engineering/support position at HPIS which is located
out in Ambler, PA. This is not a short commute for me, at the moment, so I haven't really focused any time towards art until
just this morning. However, I have just purchased a scanner and some other supplies. If I can draw the strips physically,
I should be faster and more able.
I even have a nice new source of material at the new job.
Finally, I also added a crappy art browser to the site, since the artconspiracy.com website is down
for maintenance this weekend, and the guy that runs it doesn't allow external referrals. In there you'll find a couple things
that were part of my AC gallery, as well as a bunch of really old stuff that I dug through my sketchbooks to locate and
scan. Enjoy, or something.
2004.06.29, 06:13 :: True story
All right, I'm going to make another go at daily updates. I'm fairly sure this will bite me in the ass again, but I saw
in my logs that I actually did have some readers. All guilt aside: if you are reading somewhat regularly, and you
actually give a damn whether I update or not, you can get in touch via the forums. You can even send me email if you
register. Registration is cost-free and spam-free, I have no interest in selling email addresses, I just didn't want
unregistered posters spamming the forum.
In retrospect, maybe I should've let unregistered guests post; at least there'd be some activity in the now-dusty forum.
